Hello! My name is Jelani Remy.
Join me and Playbill for Broadway 10! New York City is home to many theaters, but what
exactly makes the 41 Broadway houses, running from 41st Street to 54th Street
between 8th and 6 avenues plus the Vivian Beaumont at Lincoln Center, qualify as such? Those theaters have been deemed a
Broadway house by the Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway industry in New York and across North America. Holding 500 seats or more, each Broadway theater is
home to one show. The exception being productions in repertory. With a typical schedule of evening
performances Tuesday through Saturday and matinees on Wednesdays,
Saturdays, and Sundays. But keep in mind, every show
adheres to its own schedule. Now the difficult part is… deciding which showed to see!
