Right now I shoot my channel with two A73's. Reply Dennies Layante March 15, 2019 Matti thanks again! Thank you for sharing. It is refreshing to hear many things you say in your videos. Reply Bali Yacht Services March 17, 2019 Respect Reply Jack Evans Vlogs March 17, 2019 Imagine if someone who didn't have a following left their Canon 1dx charger, my camera costed about $560 so you left a whole ass SL2 minus the battery or something Reply Jan Carlo March 17, 2019 Hi Matti Haapoja, what you think about C100m2? I hate that kind of anxiety. Lol. Reply Idzak March 18, 2019 "Something breaks down? You gotta change the oil" just imagining Matti changing oil on his car after his car has completely fallen apart Reply Ryan Dimal March 18, 2019 I have so many bags as well. Except mine each have just gotten too small to carry all my gear…need to upgrade again. Looking for a hard case that can travel with me as a check in. Reply Valerii Iavtushenko March 18, 2019 In time! Good good episode!!! Reply Jupiter Eye March 19, 2019 When it comes to investing, the best thing to invest in is lenses, by far. Especially rare high quality lenses. But more importantly it should be something that can make you the most money… Leica lens may be awesome but will it make sense financially…? The last thing to consider is actual camera. Reply Tyler Spaid March 19, 2019 Sports for music? How'd you get that cleared? Reply Living Dadly March 19, 2019 Great video Matt, love the message surrounding hard work and smart money management. Reply Larrythebassman March 19, 2019 ✅🎨📶Good Talk 🚀✨✨✨👍⚡️💥🔥🚀 Reply SAUCE March 20, 2019 I rock a Canon T7i w/ kit lens, 50mm, extra batteries, SD cards, Movo Mic, and a Zhiyun Crane. After a year, I now have a laptop for video editing. I was so proud of myself, looking back a year and a half ago when all I had was a cheap smartphone. I first started off taking photos, but I was also fascinated by video, watching movies, or student films made by kids my age. I wondered how can I get a nice camera? Good equipment, computer, etc…Coming from a low-income family I never bothered my parents to help me with buying a camera. So, I ventured out and signed up for a job opportunity program (I was a Junior in high school, now I am currently a Senior in high school). After 5 months of program assistance and training, I was able to work at a local business, at a discount clothing store. I began to realize what "work" is. Putting in the time and effort to earn money. Fast forward to now, all that hard work, working during school nights, I was able to build my dream setup. I did get a lot of hate from people at my school because they assumed my parents bought me everything. I photographed a few events here and there and I would bump into older photographers or videographers and they would look at me with disgust as if I didn't know what I was doing simply because I had a camera in my hand and was young. But, I shrugged eveything off and ignored negativity as best as I could. Now, I continue to work hard, doing my best to learn the craft and master as years go by. YouTubers like you Matti really give me confidence to strive to do better. Reply Tinashe Kavumbura March 20, 2019 Literally!?!?!?!? Reply Implusic March 20, 2019 Damn i wanted that wandrd bag xD Reply Jen Glenn March 20, 2019 I'm thinking…why didn't you call the hotel and ask them if they found it? Reply Alex Everything March 21, 2019 Man, the priorities point is a really big one for me, and something I stand for, you have to prioritize to grow! Reply Petru B. March 21, 2019 You can charge a sony camera through usb cable for like 5 dollars, lol Reply JDLMediaCo March 21, 2019 You saved Matti some money on a charger, which in turns saves us money from this free content. Thank you @CanonCanada. Reply Nate M March 22, 2019 Yeah Canon sends me free stuff on a regular basis. Lol. Not so much. Reply Ebenezer-Tech March 22, 2019 1DX is my dream camera 😍😍😍😍 Reply Cloud Island Media March 23, 2019 this video made me subscribe! Reply theory8sf March 28, 2019 I remember using a Sony cybershot camera to make videos! Now I have a Nikon Z6! Reply krystal bolden April 3, 2019 I literally just had something similar happen to me last weekend. I left the charger to my Atoms Shogun after doing a dummy check. Luckily I was filming at my buddy's house and was able to get it returned to me free of charge 🙂 Reply Nowy Kurs April 4, 2019 Matti you are a star 🌟 😁 Reply Prajjwal Gaur April 4, 2019 You are a good motivator too along with flimaker Reply Stan Brand April 5, 2019 Great video Matti! I really enjoy watching your perspective and positivity on film making. Reply PharaohsKingdom April 8, 2019 Did you buy a Red or an ARRI yet? Reply Adin Walls April 9, 2019 Respect Matti. People forget you’ve been doing the same thing over and over again for years. Singular focus. Well done! We’ve been working our butts off for years with very little return. Now, 10 year later people comment on the cool gear and the nice car but we still sacrifice in so many areas to get the tools we need for our jobs. Reply Alan King April 10, 2019 Thanks for this video, Matti. It's a great reminder for folks to not compare their beginnings with someone else's currently career position. Reply Gary Miceli April 10, 2019 thanks for a a great vidio about cameras Reply HOOD FLICKS April 19, 2019 Can I have a bag Reply Dan Homes April 22, 2019 Douching 🤦🏻♂️ Reply Dan Homes April 22, 2019 A videographer is 🚫 a filmmaker Reply Quinten May 2, 2019 Canon Canada. Canonda Reply TrubVisionHd May 3, 2019 Be strict with your money 👀 Reply Rod MacPherson May 4, 2019 For those of you who are not youtube stars that Canon would send free stuff to, try calling the hotel and asking them to ship it back to you. This has worked for me in the past. Hotels are not generally out to rob you. They are there to provide you with a pleasant experience. Reply Dean Paauw May 5, 2019 Well iam 17 years old i worked my ass of, i have a 80d, dji ronin s , 1000 euro canon L lens and 18-135 400 euro, 1500euro laptop for editing and peters 250$ nd filter, all by my self noty parents but all me and my work Reply FULL METAL AUTO May 27, 2019 dude, I admire you so much for paying cash for everything and not buying it on tick. very inspiring and doing it the right way! also cannon 60d and kit lens was also my first camera in about 2010 or 11! haha Reply R J June 2, 2019 Big camera clearly over-compensating for something else 😂 Reply Harry rollinson June 7, 2019 Damn flexing so hard it hurt me Reply UDA Media June 17, 2019 At one point a few years ago I wouldn't have believed this, but business picked up and I had an opportunity to jump from my Canon 7D to an Ursa Mini. It's been amazing, and it wouldn't have happened without super strict budgeting and planning, making this the top priority for years until it became a reality! Reply The Grand Historian June 22, 2019 A6000, focus on that platform Reply Kelly Says Things July 6, 2019 How about we invest some time in editing? There is one minute worth of information in this 10 minute+ video. I know you need to hit that mark to make more money off the vid but please don’t ask people to invest their limited time after work on something like this when time could be spent more wisely. Try this: “I started with an 80D to learn cameras. I then upgraded to a GH5 and used it for paid work. I saved that money instead of using it on lifestyle expenses. I eventually was able to get this $20K camera for $16k. I picked the C300 mark ii as my first cinema camera by calculating that it would take 50 shoot days to pay it off as a rental for productions or 30 days to about break even. It was risky but I researched over years to find that this was a highly sought after work horse camera. So there you go guys.” How about you hire me to edit and then I can buy a spiffy C300 mark ii. Reply Tech Travel etc October 19, 2019 Honest feedback..we are not interested to see 16k camera as very few here can afford this. rather interested to learn new things. Matti this will help you to make new content Reply YTrecipe November 1, 2019 Matti I Bought All My Grear also by My own Money 💰😆😆 LOL Reply bulcub November 20, 2019 Instead of all that cash you paid, a business loan would've been much better and after you paid it off, you could've leverage for more?? MEANING you keep your cash for other things down the line and increase your line of credit at the same time? Don't spend cash, leverage it for business credit with a good credit score.
