Coastal Now – Amy Hall Alumna Profile

You’ve got to leave right now. The idea of
the movie Segfault is intriguing. The main character wakes up with no memory
and, and has no idea who she is, where she is and she has to figure this out along
the way. 2000 Coastal Carolina University graduate
Amy Hall was the executive producer on Segfault. The Dallas-based marketing
agency Amy runs created the film. It’s just another form of content for us and
a different sort of expression of our capabilities. Amy Hall returned to Coastal
to screen the film. She also had an opportunity to speak with current
students. I had a very clear image of what I wanted my life to be like at 18
years old. My life is a hundred percent different than what I thought that that
was going to look like now. You’re going to change. You’re going to evolve. Your
path is gonna take you different places. Amy says she got exactly what was needed
during her time at CCU Just one of the most fulfilling times of my, of my life.
Coming back to the University after years away, Amy is impressed with what
Coastal has become. Obviously, the campus has doubled in size,
you know, since, since I came here and there’s so much more that they’re able
to offer students. It makes her think about what her college experience would
be like if she was a freshman here today. Yeah I’m jealous, I’m a little jealous. (Laughter)
