Diverse City Crowdfunder 2019 – Theatre & Circus workshops in Dorset

We are Extraordinary Bodies,
Young Artists. EBYA is a training company
for young people age 16 – 30 We train in music, dance,
theatre, aerial circus It’s honestly the
highlight of my week We tour our shows and the young people get training,
mentoring, and coaching. We meet weekly at the
Lighthouse Theatre in Poole. We learn circus skills,
create new shows and work with
professional artists. We also train with other young
people in different cities across the UK. And sometimes we even
travel abroad! It’s Very much a
professional training I’ve learnt skills that
I never would learn in say… college. I’ve applied for Uni because
I’ve been confident in the group and I can be confident
there as well. We’re inclusive and anyone who
wants to take part, can. And we want more young
people to join. We want to extend our
training programme by offering a special summer
school of open workshops led by industry professionals that anyone can get
involved with. There will be workshops in circus… clowning… and physical theatre. but we need your support. We need to raise £4000 towards things like artists
fees, room hire access costs, travel
bursaries and equipment. We don’t want finance,
location or disability to be a barrier to anyone
who wants to take part So if you’re a young person
who wants to train with some of the best in some amazing places and even prepare for a career
in theatre and circus come and join us! Please support our
crowdfunder and help make sure everyone who wants to be
involved can be involved Thank you! Any donations you can make will
be greatly appreciated and can be made at
