Factory Theatre 2018/19 Season Trailer

For Factory’s 2018/19 Season we examine real
and imagined histories from across the country. This year we’ll explore how intimate stories
can have a monumental impact on society and how narratives of the past are the roadmaps
to the future. We’re bringing groundbreaking work by some
of the brightest voices in Canadian theatre. The Toronto premiere of Anosh Irani’s hit
Vancouver play The Men in White and a whip-smart new production of Erin Shields’ Beautiful
Man. We’ll also be launching CrossCurrents Canada,
an exciting series of presentations from visionary theatre companies across the country. Featuring, the Toronto premiere of Angélique,
the 1995 classic account of slavery in New France. The Tashme Project: The Living Archives a
visually rich collection of memories of internment. Bears, a wildly entertaining chase story along
the Trans-Mountain pipeline, and We Keep Coming Back an uncanny play of a mother and son’s
quest to Poland. Six exceptional shows all in one place, its
going to be a wild ride so hit the road with us starting this Fall. Factory 2018/19, Canada at Your Doorstep.
