LOVE SIMON | SWISS LGBT PREMIERE | Follow Me Around

Welcome to the subtitles. 🙂 This video is about the Swiss LGBT Premiere of the movie “Love, Simon”. If you’ve seen my lastest video you know that I planned and hosted this event for the Swiss premiere of the movie. I invited a lot of Swiss LGBT bloggers, youtubers, instagramers & dragqueens + their communities. And we all met in the movie theater “Canva” in Solothurn (small town in Switzerland). And together we wanted to enjoy the movie and celebrate our LGBT community. “Love, Simon” is an inspiring movie about a closeted gay high school boy that struggles to find his way of coming out. And that’s all I knew going to the Swiss premiere. I was just really excited. And I hope you have fun, watching some impressions of the premiere. Hey. 🙂 So I’m back home. The movie “Love, Simon” was so sweet and emotional (for me). Such a great LGBT movie (but also great for heterosexuals). I can really recommend the movie. I can really relate to the character Simon, because he had no control over when to come out or which people he’s gonna tell in the movie. And I personally had the same experience when I was bullied in School. I was so not ready to come out, but I was forced to do so. If someone wants to come out, it should always be his/her decision when to come out and which people they’re gonna tell. That’s such an important message of the movie. I’m not gonna spoil the ending. Go and watch the movie! And now: A BIG THANK YOU to the movie theater “Canva” in Solothurn for allowing me to do this event. Thanks to all the LGBT youtubers, bloggers, instagramers and dragqueens for coming. Also Thanks to “Milchjugend”. They’re a big LGBT organisation in Switzerland and they helped with the panel talk we did after the movie. And also thanks to all the viewers that showed up. 🙂 I also wanna say, I did NOT get paid to do this event or this video. I did this event, because even in the smallest towns where there’s no LGBT group or so, we need to have some sort of LGBT events. Please remember, that even the smallest LGBT events can help out a lot. A little goes a long way. And you all can help to push LGBT rights in the right direction. Even Switzerland still has a long way to go when it comes to LGBT rights. You will find the links of the Swiss LGBT influencers in the video description below. And now back to English:
