knees it’s Bonnie baby Everyone knows what a Redocast is. Everyone’s come across a Redcoat. We meet Destiny, we meet Barry, we meet Lyn and we meet Terrance. DESTINY: “And here she is, the woman of the moment” TERRANCE: “It’s like Piccadilly blumin circus” LYN: “”Who are you?” DESTINY: “Is there anything you’d like to say, Lyn?” LYN: Yes there is, I have been a Redcoat for 50 years And the most important thing I’ve learnt is that rules are there for a reason BARRY: ER Lyn? LYN: Shush Barry All the rules in the Redcoat handbook are to be followed including the rule that Unless there’s something hangin’ off, got stuck on or a meteor is about to strike Redcoat rehearsals are not to be interrupted. BARRY: Lyn! LYN: what!? BARRY: This is…Destiny TERRANCE: What sort of name is that? It’s some of my happiest memories. I was really lucky, we were a working-class mixed race family from Keighley And when I went to Butlins in Skegness, I felt like the richest person in the world because I could go on the dodgems for
nowt, I could get a BMX for nowt and they were the best things ever ♫ we stood together, played together ♫ ♫ The likes of you and me ♫ ♫ Strangers became friends forever ♫ ♫ Beside the seaside, beside the sea ♫ ♫ Just you and me ♫ ♫ You and me ♫ “Hello my darlings. Hello my darlings. No? Eh, come on.”
