Reply twst1 March 30, 2019 30 years ago i was sooo close to the edge. thank Jah i found the cure Reply matt murdock March 30, 2019 It was really cool to hear Robert admit that starting off the set w/Shake Dog Shake was a tribute to Andy Anderson. When I heard that familiar Andy drum roll, I first thought it was Robert doing a tribute to Andy. When I heard that the band would be inducted and I did not see Andy, Matthieu, or Phil get inducted I, as a long time fan was irritated by these omissions. Mainly because Andy and Phil were part of a period in the history of the band that I really liked. I liked Matthieu's playing on 17 Seconds and thought he could have really been an asset to the band. I think the Hall has all sorts of weird stipulations and rules on the number of members, their specific contributions, etc. It was great to hear Robert thank Matthieu, Phil, and Andy for playing in the band and Chris Parry for his discovery of the band and longtime affitlitaion w/the band in his acceptance speech. I am so happy that I was able to make the trip and see the induction in person.
