September’s Bitesize Briefing from UK Theatre

This bite-sized briefing will give you a
rundown on this month’s things that you need to know from the industry and from
UK Theatre. On Sunday 27 October we’ll celebrate the UK Theatre
Awards 2019 from London’s Guildhall. The nominations are going to be announced on
Wednesday 25 September. If you follow the UK Theatre to twitter feed
@UK_theatre you’ll be able to see the nominations video as its
announced and you can also follow the hashtag #UKTAwards. UK Theatre and SOLT
are going to be heading out around the country over the coming month to help
you prepare in the event of a No Deal Brexit. We’ll be holding sessions around
the UK and you can find out more about these sessions on our website. An APPG for theatre has recently been formed. What is an APPG? Well, it’s an All-Party
Parliamentary Group. The Co-Chairs are Tracy Brabin and Giles Watling. SOLT and
UK Theatre are the Secretariat for the Theatre APPG and there’ll be a launch
event at Parliament on 16 October. Remember to keep an eye on our
