UMD Department of Theatre Presents An Enemy of the People

UMD’s Theatre Department invites you to
join their academically and artistically rigorous program. We offer both The
Bachelor of Arts and The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs, allowing
students to choose a path that best suits their individual aspirations and
talents. Students in both programs are supported by rich and varied production
opportunities preparing them for careers in the performing arts and a wide range
of related professions. Our 2019-2020 season includes gut-busting comedies,
whimsical fantasies, pivotal dramas and fun for the whole family.
Come see An Enemy of the People November 7th through the 16th in the Dudley
Experimental Theatre. When a scientist discovers the town’s water is toxic, the
community must choose between jobs or environmental safety. This production is
a new adaptation by UMD Theatre’s own Professor Tom Isbell. A play as relevant
today as when it was written in 1882. Advance tickets are available for
students at $10 each, or you can get free rush tickets 30 minutes before any
performance with a valid UMD student ID. Tickets are available in person at the
box office located in the lobby of the Marshall Performing Arts Center or
online at tickets.umn.edu. Come experience this exciting 2019-2020
season. See you in the theater. you
