What’s written above this London theatre stage door

Hi, this stage door has that ‘let’s get to
work and put on a show,’ type-feel to it. And it’s only if you know that this is the
artist entrance to the elegant Prince Edward theatre, that you get that, that these are
special doors. So this theatre was renamed “London Casino”
around the Second World War, that’s why that’s written up there but look what else is written
there. So in 1978 it turned again into the Prince
Edward theatre, but just picture the theatrical history even since then. “Evita” premiered here. Elaine Paige went through these doors for
eight years in “Evita”. And even the London streets have such a heritage
around these doors that are entryways to such creativity.
